PROBLEM FOR MEDICAL COMMUNITY Are you aware that drug testing is driving many adult pot users to cocaine? Unlike pot, cocaine cannot be detected by analysis of bodily fluids three days after use. Among the mature drug-using crowd, Friday night is known as ``party night.'' Trying to stamp out pot in Vietnam in the late 1960s drove our troops to heroin. Ever wonder why so many kids use alcohol? Alcohol is vastly more addictive and intoxicating than pot but can't put a felony on your record. Most parents are relieved to learn that their kids just drink. It is insane. Enforced abstinence cannot work. Let's end this insanity and let the medical community handle the problem. - --- MAP posted-by: allan wilkinson
