COMPUTERS DON'T make you high. (Letters, June 23) Opinions vary on
whether computers can make people high, but no one who knows anything
about the history of Silicon Valley denies desktop computing was
invented under the influence of pizza, Coca-Cola, LSD and marijuana --
not necessarily in that order.
