About 60 percent voted "No" on Measure A, and that is only 12.6 percent of the population. The "war on drugs" has failed miserably, so let's do the smart thing and tax it. We have all witnessed the lies told by public unions, police associations, etc., when unions participate in scare tactics against tax measures and other programs they don't want. It was not any different this election. I saw advertisements stating that criminals would "run wild."
