Democrats knew they'd be re-elected because they always had. Then, in the turbulent times of the '60s and '70s, Florida became a two-party state. Incumbents began to be challenged, and challengers began to win. Florida is overdue for change to vote out today's cynical politicians and get leaders who value public service more than re-election.
