Grover CHANGES IN MARIJUANA LAW COULD VIOLATE RIGHTS I just wanted to write a letter to voice my opinion on our elected officials who are trying to repeal the medical marijuana law that was voted in by the people of Montana. Our elected officials are using a poll that was done in other states, not in Montana. The poll ran in Montana by a morning news show, showed that if given the chance to vote for or against the legalization of pot again 62 percent of Montanans polled said they would vote for the law again. We the people of Montana don't have a say at all in this matter. This is wrong. Also, the U.S. attorney general said he wouldn't bother Montana caregivers and dispensaries, but the drug enforcement agency came in and raided many of Montana's stores and growers and damaged these people's livelihood, and the people relying on this medicine for pain relief and appetite. If not repealed, they want to have everyone who has a card to be in a registry so our friendly police can come to your house and inspect your growing operation and try to find anything to arrest you. This is a violation of our rights as I see it. Carol L. Grover Butte - --- MAP posted-by: Richard R Smith Jr.
