CANNABIS PROHIBITION JUST DOESN'T MAKE SENSE

Who can blame David Cox for eliminating the chance of being misquoted
about the cannabis (marijuana) issue while running as a Republican
candidate for House District 54? I cannot imagine an intelligent
person knowing the truth about cannabis and cannabis laws suddenly
changing his mind and rationalizing prohibition, persecution and
extermination of this relatively safe, God-given plant. The country
is full of politicians who do crazy, sinful and dishonest things to
get elected though and we'll just have to wait and see.

Cannabis prohibition runs against true Republican principals, but
I've grown accustomed to Republicans who want to spend money caging
responsible adults for using this plant. David Cox gets it. His GOP
challengers Ray "What's our next step? Medical crack?" Scott and
Robert "what I would do is have stricter restrictions" Hislop, don't get it.

For the record, I'm a registered Democrat, but I would consider
changing that if a Republican candidate in my Colorado district
supported ending the sin of cannabis prohibition.
