How much tobacco is grown on federal lands? I bet none or almost none. Why? Because it's legal. If we were to criminalize tobacco, the situation could change. Then tobacco would be unregulated, untaxed and controlled by criminals just as marijuana is today. And perhaps it would be grown on federal lands.
