Emily Randles was arrested on suspicion of selling prescription pills to a 16-year-old. Police reported the district attorney's "intent" to file felony charges in this case. However, Randles -- who could be charged with endangering the health and safety, contributing to the delinquency and illegally dispensing prescription without a license to a minor -- was released "on her own recognizance." A Latino man was jailed with a $500,000 bail for stalking his wife. The Randles case is only the latest in a long string of anti-Latino bias conducted in the Ventura County justice system.
