Not long ago, it was illegal in B.C. to serve alcohol on a Sunday. It was once legal to ride a motorcycle without a helmet, and now it's not. Yes, Da Kine is breaking the law and there will be consequences. They are: Taxpaying citizens will grow tired of being told they are criminals for doing what every person who takes a drink does -- enjoy the right to relax a little. They will represent a larger and larger proportion of society, until lawmakers feel it is in society's best interest to decriminalize marijuana.
