It also questions if we want to continue living with a sheriff who thinks Gestapo-type tactics makes sense. While I have lived here long enough to not be surprised by anybody being busted for offenses that seem incongruous with their personalities, I have known the Brudwicks for years and highly doubt there was a case here. Whether Sheriff John Minor suspected a methamphetamine manufacturing operation or not, his tactics were deplorable. He knew where Josh and Kate were and could have asked for a key. We must question if we want a sheriff with this kind of ego who wastes our money in this manner. Yes, it is our money, even though it comes from exorbitant drug fines. And one more thing. I hope that your readers who saw the letter of endorsement from former Sheriff Delbert Ewoldt don't think that such an endorsement is a good thing. Those of us who lived here under Ewoldt's regime know better. Travis Bennett Blue River - --- MAP posted-by: Larry Seguin
