Early WAR ON DRUGS MISGUIDED The Free Press has printed reports and letters from its readers regarding U.S. citizens' peaceful protests against the Bush administration's war on Iraq. I applaud the hundreds of thousands who have courageously taken their voices to the streets in opposition to that war. I am in strong agreement with their protests. Unfortunately, I cannot help but wonder why these same citizens have not expressed the need to stop the longest undeclared war in U.S. history, a war the government foolishly calls a "War on Drugs." In reality, it is a "war on the people." Certainly, opposition and protest from the American people is the only process that will force our political leaders to end their hypocritical and horribly misguided "war on drugs." As with all wars, this war too must come to an end. Glenn H. Early, Federal Correctional Institution inmate Milan - --- MAP posted-by: Doc-Hawk
