All of them should be legalized, sold with accurate warning labels, and the proceeds used to fund clinics for those whom the drugs make ill. Drugs, like alcohol, are evil. But it is a medical evil, not a criminal one. There is a solution to drugs. Their users seek "connection." They find it with the fascination of evil. The answer, as Fred Rogers said elsewhere last week, is to make the good attractive. This is possible because behind the glittering surface of evils is nothing, where the good alone is substantial.
