Laberge SENATE RIGHT ON! It seems the Senate wants to legalize pot. They want to put the drug lords out of business. Instead they want small companies to make money selling pot to Canadians. And this will pay dividends to shareholders. Meanwhile, our enlightened health council wants to bankrupt small business owners in high draconian style. How? Well, they want to ban smoking, even in bars and hotels. I quote from Senator Pierre Claude Nolin on the pot issue: "The premise of our report is that in a free society, such as ours, citizens should have the right to make their own informed decisions on their own behavior as long as it does not inordinately harm others." He goes on to say: "We think Canadians are quite capable of making a wise choice with respect to cannabis policy." The prime minister should make Sudbury councillors members of the Senate. At the same time, I think Nolin should be appointed mayor of Sudbury, (maybe for life). Even if he never shows up for council meetings, he coud do no worse than our current mayor did for some recent important meetings. Pierre M. Laberge Sudbury - --- MAP posted-by: Jay Bergstrom
