But let's take a reality break here. How many of these individuals have been arrested for dealing before? How many of them will be arrested again? How many of them will simply get a smack on the wrist and probation? How many of them have been identified as "third timers" according to the governor's "three strikes (and) you're out" rule? Face it, chances are the law enforcement is only wasting time because these people will be granted bond, free on the streets, and returned to doing what they do, and likely, in the end, will end up with a plea bargain with the local district attorney. I live in Warner Robins, and all the things mentioned above happen everyday in Houston County. I know local law enforcement is sick and tired of locking these people up, only to have some smart lawyer get them out again. There is nothing more to do for the working person but to just vote to legalize everything; let the government tax it and generate revenue for the state. Any other suggestions?
