Addiction is a serious medical issue and addicts are no more deserving of the cage than are medical-marijuana users. The "Take them but leave me alone!" whining converts no prohibition zealots and feeds into their ad hominem arguments. Addicts need medical maintenance just as much as anyone needs medical marijuana and, I submit, the need is far more acute. Dave Michon Eau Claire, Wis. - --- MAP posted-by: Doc-Hawk
