I'm no fan of rugby or cars and my brain switches off whenever anyone starts on such topics, but that wouldn't make for a very compelling newspaper column now, would it? "Regular users of dak . . . (are) not universally admired" claims Ms Macleod. Really? What about John Lennon, Sir Paul McCartney and Bob Marley - -- all potheads and artistes extraordinaire. And how about Carl Sagan? MacLeod is right to link terrorism with the drugs trade, but that's purely a consequence of insidious prohibition laws which raise the price of these substances well into the bracket where so few can make so much money in so short a time.
