His concern is that the huge sums spent on finding and prosecuting dope smokers might be better used for finding and prosecuting, say, burglars or violent criminals. While Nandor's groovy dreads and admitted use may appear to undermine it, Green policy promotes, in preference, a drug-free lifestyle. Were Nandor Tanczos a typical smoker, he would not be in Parliament. He would be scoffing cold pizza in his lounge and considering getting involved in politics tomorrow.
