MORE THAN CORBELLA'S MEMORY DAMAGED I DON'T believe Licia Corbella's personal memory problems justify the continuation of a harmful drug policy ("Devastation caused by illicit drugs all too familiar," Aug. 27). Given her inability to grasp the glaring flaw in the "gateway" theory concerning marijuana, I suspect her admitted past drug use may have damaged more than just her memory. I would hope that Canada cares more about the health of Canadian children than appeasing drug warriors in the U.S. Robert Sharpe (It is the kids' well-being Licia is most concerned about.) - --- MAP posted-by: Don Beck
