Dear Editor,

Mr. Ken Singer's recent editorial on alcohol reaches new heights of drug
war hypocrisy. Mr Singer is one of Kentuckys biggest drug dealers. He
makes his living selling government-regulated alcohol and encouraging
people to use it for purely recreational purposes. Alcohol causes more
crime, violence, and heartbreak than all other legal and illegal drugs
combined by an exponential factor.

It is typical drug war hypocrisy that a drug dealer of Mr. Singer's
stature is also President of the local "Champions for a Drug Free
Kentucky." But then, the thought of a drug-free Kentucky, a drug-free
America, or any other drug free place is so hysterically funny that a
drug dealer may as well be President of the local stamp out drugs club.

Mr. Singer's chosen profession, recreational drug sales and
distribution, is perfectly legal, and I would fight to allow him to
remain in business. I just think he is a hypocrite of the highest order
for perpetuating a shooting war against those free American citizens who
wish to use less harmful drugs than alcohol for recreational purposes.

sincerely,

Arthur R Sobey
